Terms of use

Draft for the testing phase. It will be reviewed by a lawyer before the public launch.

Last updated: 2 October 2026

1. What TchinTchin is

TchinTchin is an app where the guests of an event build the event album together. The host (for example, the couple) creates the event, picks a package and invites people with a personal QR. By using the app, you accept these terms.

2. Your account

You sign in with your phone number and a code we send by SMS. There is no password. The account is personal: don't share it or use someone else's number. You must be 16 or older to create an account.

3. Invitations and QR

Each personal QR can only be activated by one account. Once activated, it's linked to your phone. If you change phones, ask the hosts for a new QR. The table QR has a limited number of uses.

4. Photos and quotas

Each guest can post the number of photos the event package allows. Extra photos you buy (top-ups) are valid only at that event and are lost when it ends. Photos taken offline stay on your phone and upload when there's internet, up to 48 hours after the event ends.

5. What you can post

Only post photos from the event that you took or have the right to share. Nudity, violence, hate, or photos that expose someone in a humiliating way are not allowed. The hosts and TchinTchin may hide or delete photos and suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Who sees your photos

When posting, you choose whether the photo goes to the event album (all guests) or only to the hosts. The event album only becomes visible when the hosts reveal it. Hosts always see every photo from their event.

7. People's image

By entering an event, you accept that you may appear in other guests' photos. You can report any photo you appear in: it stays hidden until the hosts decide. Parents can ask for photos showing their children to be removed.

8. Payments

Prices are in Kwanzas and shown before you pay. The package is paid by the hosts; top-ups and album downloads are paid by whoever requests them. Used top-ups and completed downloads are not refundable.

9. Photographers

Photographers hired through the app are independent professionals. TchinTchin connects you and takes a commission; the service is the photographer's responsibility.

10. How long we keep things

Photos and albums are deleted at the end of the package period (3 or 6 months after the event). We notify you 7 days and 1 day before. Download anything you want to keep before then.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will let you know in the app about important changes. Questions: ajuda@tchintchin.ao.
